So the A’s started their reversion to what everyone thought that they would be on May 2nd. Coming into the series of Texas they were on a four game winning streak after sweeping the then first place Orioles. Then things started to unravel. They drop 2 out of three against Texas, score two runs in three games while getting swept by the Indians, drop two out of three against Atlanta and then drop the first two games against Tampa. Things were starting to look ugly with Boston coming to town for the weekend series.
