The Dapper Lads Recommends: Apathy and Other Small Victories

Our last post was about how terrible Dane Cook is and it left us feeling sort of negative, so here’s a post about something we like. It’s Apathy and Other Small Victories and it is the funniest book we’ve read in a long time, possibly ever. We’d be reading it on the bus and laughing out loud like a maniac. This would freak out the cute yuppie girls on the bus. I think they are prepared for people who look like maniacs to behave like maniacs, but clean cut guys with their nose in a book don’t typically behave like crazy people and they just weren’t ready for it.

Dane Cook is a No-Talent Ass-Clown.

Some people simply aren’t good at what they do for a living. Usually these people can be ignored (or at least muttered about under our breathe,) but on occasion they become professional comedians. It is harder to ignore these people because they are on TV being not funny professionally. On a semi-regular basis, we’ll be profiling the least funny comedians with the hopes that they come across us while searching for Emma Watson or Love Stones and will be convinced to retire from being a comedian and do something they aren’t horrible at. We start with Dane Cook.
