AJ-C and JS Forever

The Braves’ John Smoltz texted the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the other day: ”I am planning on coming back as a reliever first, and more than likely for the rest of this year.”

In a journalistic coup, The Dapper Lad’s investigative reporting division was able to retrieve the transcript of the text conversation, which is reprinted here in its entirety:

Atlanta Journal-Constitution: wher r u?
John Smoltz: home, u?
AJ-C: same, busy?
JS: no, u?
AJ-C: no, want to come ovr?
