Headline: McCain Booed at Martin Luther King Speech

Summary: John McCain gave a speech on the 40th anniversary of the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  He apologized for repeatedly opposing the creation of a holiday to celebrate King’s legacy.  Oh, also while speaking he had a black man hold an umbrella over his head.

Subtext: John McCain is old. 

 

Headline: Obama, Bowling Badly

Summary: Barack Obama campaigned at a Pennsylvania bowling alley and racked up a score of 37.  Thirty-seven. 

Subtext: White people are forced to privately consider if black people are supposed to be good at bowling.

 

Headline: Sinbad Unloads on Hillary Clinton

Summary: Actor/Comedian/Neither tells a conflicting account of Hillary’s claims of harrowing visit to Bosnia.

Subtext: Sinbad has not died yet.
